The Years are 1990-1991
We travelled to Manila to meet then work with Master Choa [not yet a Grand Master] and Mung Mike [not yet a Master] on weekdays.
When we first arrived Master asked Duncan about his extensive charitable poverty alleviation livelihood and restoration projects in his three diverse regions. Duncan explained the projects, funding and management briefly.
Master then asked about our healing work we briefly responded and said we were here to learn from him. Master become fascinated by Duncan’s sonic toning and requested he demonstrate. Duncan repeated we had come to learn Pranic Healing from him. Master Choa insisted Duncan do sacred sonic toning.
Duncan collected himself doing prayer in silence surrounded in the hushed waiting room of about 45 people on chairs including 20 nuns wearing grey and white habits. We were not aware Mung Mike [not yet a master] was one of the most clairvoyant people on the planet sitting next to Master Choa. Duncan created and toned his overtone healing.
The air became fine and golden there was silence for several minutes after the toning stopped. Master turned to Mung Mike and said “What happened?”
Mung Mike said all the chakras of every person in the room balanced and became bigger. Then a man ran up from the back of the room and emphatically said I can breathe, I can breathe! He said he had been in the hospital emergency room that morning for his emphysema. He was crying and thanking Duncan, we watched as his skin turned from gray to pink and his breathing continue deeply.

Master Choa turned to Duncan and said you do not have to learn Pranic Healing go home and record your sonic toning. Duncan said I want to learn Pranic Healing as it is can be duplicated and taught. I know how to do toning but I don't teach it. Master said you must record your work it is important.
We then called, met and hired Edgardos’ son as our driver, astounded by this vibrant man who had returned to medical school, was a part time driver and off all medications. He was excited about life and living proof that Pranic Psychotherapy worked.
During the daily-shared simple lunches at Mung Mikes’ home clinic we had never heard such happiness and mirthful explosive laughter as between Master Choa, Mung Mike and Duncan. We then also trained at the Mei Ling Pranic Healing clinic travelling to Mung Mike’s home clinic when Master was present.

We continued to enjoy time and practice with Master Choa , Mung Mike and other Pranic Healers.
In 1992 back home in Victoria, Duncan and I co-facilitated the Earth and Spirit Gatherings for several years with large groups of people.
The Gatherings included sharing circles, healing circles, universal peace dances, modified Twin Heart planetary blessings, creativity, mutual support, prayer and spiritual community with over 800 regular weekly participants.
Once we were invited to attend a separate healing circle. The man facilitating it placed a critically ill patient in the centerand instructed participants to send color and energy to the patient. Duncan and I did not participate. At the end of his event I privately ask the facilitator what he was doing. He said he could do anything he wanted with color and energy as long as he had good intentions. In what I had learned through Pranic Healing from Master Choa I knew this was not true; I knew others needed to learn it and understand it.
The next day I phoned Master Choa [before internet] to ask him to come to Victoria to teach Pranic Healing. He said “No, Marilee, Canada has good medical coverage you do not need PH as much as villages with poverty and dysentery.” I said I knew people who had seen psychiatrists regularly for decades and still cried every day. He then said, “I’ll come.” He added Nona Castro [not yet a Master] had moved to Vancouver and we should contact her, which we did.
Within two weeks Master Choa arrived in Victoria to lead 250 people in a Friday Introductory PH evening. Eighty-fivestudents registered for Level 1 PH for the weekend. Nona, Duncan and I assisted as the only people familiar with PH. We also advertised a free healing clinic on Monday.
During a class break on Sunday I said to Master, “We have a problem.” He asked, “What is it?” I said many have called to register for the free healing clinic... it appears there will be over 400 people tomorrow.
